Musica Viva milestones

Richard Goldner

Today marks the 21st anniversary of Richard Goldner’s death. Richard founded Musica Viva in 1945 with the vision of bringing the joy of chamber music to Australia. Inspired by Richard’s passion, we have shared his love of chamber music with Australians from the very young to the very old.

At tonight’s concert by the Kuss Quartet & Naoko Shimizu we will also be celebrating 50 years of Musica Viva concerts in Newcastle. One of the founding Newcastle members will even be present tonight.

Musica Viva is lucky to have dedicated supporters around the country, be they committee members, donors, volunteers or others. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank each one of them!
