Atos Trio moves on to Adelaide

The Atos Trio are no doubt sleeping in this morning after a spectacular concert in Perth last night. The Mendelssohn Trio was particularly impressive, and anybody who stayed away because of post-Melbourne Cup fatigue missed out on a treat, including a lovely encore also by Mendelssohn. The concert was followed by a Q&A with the artists and by the time they had a bite to eat after the concert they certainly deserve a rest.

This afternoon the Trio will travel to Adelaide where they perform tomorrow night and do another Q&A after the concert, hosted by the ABC’s very own Simon Healy.

The Trio has a busy tour ahead, culminating in performances at the Huntington Estate Music Festival in Mudgee, NSW. The Festival will see the Trio performing by themselves as well as with a diverse range of artists, including soprano Amelia Farrugia and violinist Ray Chen.
