Pavel Haas Quartet heads to the beach

The Pavel Haas Quartet gave another successful performance in Coffs Harbour last night, dazzling the audience with their performances of Haydn, Stanhope and Dvorak. Although the weather was not looking too promising, the Quartet was hoping to get to the beach this morning before their midday flight back to Sydney.

The Quartet has a big weekend coming up with a matinee performance in Sydney tomorrow followed by a private recital for Sydney’s Amadeus society on Sunday (including an exclusive performance of Britten’s Three Divertimenti which, for this tour, will only be heard by Amadeus society members!) And don’t forget your chance to participate in a post-concert Q&A with the Quartet, hosted by Carl Vine, after Saturday’s concert.
