Choir returns to Sydney for live broadcast on ABC Classic FM
The Choir of Trinity College Cambridge is this morning recovering after a busy weekend. On Saturday night they performed to a capacity audience at Port Macquarie’s Glasshouse (after an afternoon of sunning themselves – many of the Choir were looking forward to the warmer northern temperatures having begun the tour in freezing cold Hobart!)
Returning to Sydney yesterday the Choir headed straight to the Art Gallery of NSW for Musica Viva’s Sydney Gala. The Choir did get some time to look at the exhibits before giving a stunning performance of specially selected repertoire in the Old Masters Gallery.
Tonight the Choir performs at City Recital Hall, Angel Place, Sydney, and the concert will be broadcast live around Australia on ABC Classic FM. Ticket sales are strong and the atmosphere promises to be electric.
